Morfoz speaks every language on Earth
Emergency network

When it matters, reach the people you choose.

The Morfoz emergency network sends your help call and location to the people and groups you pick — over the internet, or over Bluetooth through nearby Morfoz phones when the internet is down. The call button shows the emergency number for the country you're in.

What it does

Made for the hours when networks falter.

Help call

Hold the red button and your call goes to the groups you chose, with your location, status and battery level.

Check-in

Share your location and status with the people you choose, for as long as you choose. The phone asks “Are you OK?” from time to time; if you don't answer, they hear about it first.

When the internet is down

On iPhone, your call can travel over Bluetooth through nearby Morfoz phones that have the network turned on. It only reaches someone if such a phone is nearby. Android: coming soon.

Reach each other

The people helping you see your last reported location on a map, with distance and direction. Location is approximate: its accuracy depends on the phone and where you are.

The right number in every country

One tap calls the emergency number of the country you're in — 112, 911, 999, 000 and more, with separate police, ambulance and fire numbers where a country uses them. The country comes from your phone's time zone and network, not your location, and you can change it.

End-to-end encrypted

Your location and messages are encrypted on your phone; the Morfoz server only relays them and can't read them.

How it works
  1. 01

    Set it up once

In the app: Menu → Security → Emergency sign-in. Choose the people and groups who should hear from you.

  2. 02

    In an emergency

Hold the red button to send a help call, or tap the emergency number to call local services directly.

  3. 03

    They come to you

Your people see your status, last location and battery, get the updates and let you know they're on the way.

Please read

  • It doesn't replace official emergency services, and Morfoz doesn't notify any authority. If you can call, call the emergency number first.
  • Over Bluetooth, a help call only helps if a Morfoz phone with the network turned on is nearby.
  • Locations are what the phone reports and can't be verified. Don't go somewhere dangerous alone — tell emergency services.

Set it up before you need it.

The emergency network is part of the Morfoz app for iPhone and Android.
